Activities
Activities is the operational heart of Koru.Farm. Here you plan, execute, and track all farm work — from planting and irrigation to harvesting and transportation. Every task performed on your farm can be recorded as an activity.
What is an Activity?
An activity represents a specific task or operation performed on your farm. Each activity includes:
- Work type — what kind of work is being done (harvesting, irrigation, planting, etc.)
- Location — which farm and cultivation zone
- Crop — which crop the activity relates to (optional)
- Date — when the activity is scheduled or was completed
- Resources — equipment and supplies used
- Status — planned, in progress, completed, or overdue
Activity Statuses
Activities move through different statuses as work progresses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Planned | Activity is scheduled for the future |
| In Progress | Work has started but not finished |
| Completed | Work is done |
| Overdue | Planned date has passed without completion |
The Activities page shows summary cards with counts for each status, giving you a quick overview of your farm operations.
Two Tabs: Activities and Work Types
The Activities section has two tabs:
Activities Tab
The main list of all activities on your farm. Here you can:
- View all activities in a searchable table
- Filter by status, crop, farm, or zone
- Create new activities
- Track completion dates and assigned resources
Work Types Tab
Configure the types of work available for activities. Before creating activities, you need to set up your work types. See Work Types for details.
Set up Work Types first! Before you can create activities, you need to define what types of work your farm performs. Go to the Work Types tab to create groups and work types.
Resources in Activities
When creating an activity, you can assign resources:
| Resource Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Equipment | Tractors, sprayers, harvesters from your equipment list |
| Supplies | Products from your inventory (fertilizers, seeds, chemicals) |
| Workers | Team members assigned to perform the work |
This creates a complete record of what resources were used for each operation.
Activity Table Columns
The activities table displays:

| Activity | Activity name and work type badge |
| Status | Current status (Planned, In Progress, Completed) |
| Farm & Zone | Location where work is performed |
| Crop | Associated crop (if any) |
| Date | Scheduled date |
| Completed Date | When the activity was finished |
| Resources | Equipment and supplies count |
