Bulk Create Workers
When you need to add multiple team members quickly, use the Bulk Create feature. This is faster than adding workers one by one and uses simplified fields.
When to Use Bulk Create
Bulk Create is ideal when:
- Onboarding multiple new employees at once
- Setting up your initial team roster
- Adding a group of seasonal workers
- You only need basic information initially
If you need to add detailed information like phone numbers and employment type, use the regular Add Worker method or add details later by editing.
Creating Multiple Workers
Navigate to Workers
Go to Resources → Workers in the left menu.
Click Bulk Create
Click the Bulk Create button (next to Import CSV).
Add Worker Rows
A modal window will open with the bulk creation form. Each row represents one worker.
For each worker, fill in:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Employee ID | Yes âś± | Unique identifier for this worker |
| First Name | Yes ✱ | Worker’s first name |
| Last Name | Yes ✱ | Worker’s last name |
| Status | No | Employment status — defaults to “Active” |
Add More Rows
Click the + Add Row button to add more workers. You can add as many rows as needed.
Remove Rows (If Needed)
To remove a row you don’t need, click the red trash icon (🗑) on the right side of that row.
Review Your Workers
At the bottom of the modal, you’ll see a count of how many workers will be created.
Click the Review button to proceed.
Confirm and Create
Review the worker list and confirm. All workers will be added to your team and appear in the workers table.

Tip: You can always add more details later by editing each worker after bulk creation.
Best Practices
Plan Your Employee IDs
Before bulk creating, decide on an ID format:
- Use sequential numbers (W-1, W-2, W-3)
- Or use a consistent prefix (EMP001, EMP002)
- Make sure IDs are unique
Add Details After
For a typical workflow:
- Use Bulk Create to quickly add all workers
- Then edit each worker individually to add:
- Email and phone
- Hire date
- Employment type
Verify Before Confirming
Double-check names and IDs before confirming. It’s easier to fix mistakes during creation than after.
