Edit & Delete Crops
This guide explains how to update crop information or remove crops that are no longer needed.
Editing a Crop
You can edit any crop information at any time. The edit modal has the same tabs as the creation modal.
Navigate to Crops
Go to Resources → Crops in the left menu.
Find the Crop
In the crops table, locate the crop you want to edit.
Open Edit Menu
Click the three dots menu (â‹®) on the right side of the crop row and select Edit Crop.
Update Information
A modal window will open with three tabs:
- Basic Information — Name, Category, Variety
- Growing Conditions — Planting depth, germination, maturity, water, sunlight, temperature, soil pH, yield
- Additional Information — Fertilizer requirements, Notes
Edit any fields you need to change across all tabs.
Save Changes
Click the Update Crop button to save your changes. The updated information will be saved to the database.
Deleting a Crop
You can delete a crop only if it has no associated data.
When You Can Delete
The Delete Crop option is available only when the crop has:
- No seasons linked
- No cultivation zones assigned
Navigate to Crops
Go to Resources → Crops in the left menu.
Find the Crop
In the crops table, locate the crop you want to delete.
Select Delete
Click the three dots menu (â‹®) on the right side of the crop row and select Delete Crop.
Confirm Deletion
Confirm your action in the dialog that appears. The crop will be permanently removed from your catalog.
When You Cannot Delete
If the crop is already linked to a season or assigned to a cultivation zone, the Delete Crop option will not be available.
