Equipment
The Equipment section helps you track and manage all machinery, tools, and equipment used on your farm. From tractors and harvesters to irrigation systems and hand tools, you can maintain a complete inventory of your farm assets.
What is Equipment?
Equipment includes any machinery, tools, or assets used in your farming operations:
- Tractors — Primary power units for field work
- Harvesters — Crop harvesting machinery
- Planters — Seeding and planting equipment
- Sprayers — Pesticide and fertilizer application
- Cultivators — Soil preparation tools
- Irrigation — Watering systems and pumps
- Hand Tools — Manual farming implements
- Other — Trailers, vehicles, auxiliary equipment
Key Features
Equipment Tracking
For each piece of equipment, you can record:
- Equipment name and type
- Manufacturer and model
- Current status (Available, In Use, etc.)
- Category classification
- Assigned farm location
- Notes and specifications
Multiple Ways to Add Equipment
Koru.Farm offers three ways to add equipment to your inventory:

Farm Assignment
Equipment can be assigned to specific farms, making it easy to track which assets are located where. This is especially useful for operations managing multiple farm locations.
Equipment Status
Each piece of equipment has a status indicating its current availability:

| Available | Ready for use |
| In Use | Currently being used in an activity |
| Maintenance | Under repair or service |
| Out of Service | Not operational |
Equipment status helps with planning activities. You can quickly see what equipment is available when scheduling farm work.
Integration with Activities
Equipment connects to the Activities section of Koru.Farm. When you plan or record farm activities, you can assign equipment to those tasks. This creates a complete record of how your equipment is being used throughout the season.
Important: Equipment that is assigned to activities cannot be deleted. This ensures your activity records remain complete and accurate.
