The Equipment Management section in Koru.Farm allows you to maintain a comprehensive inventory of your farm’s machinery and equipment. You can track detailed information about each piece of equipment including technical specifications, compliance requirements, registration details, maintenance schedules, and financial data.

Equipment Status
Each piece of equipment has a status indicating its current condition:

| Operational | Equipment is in working condition and available for use |
| Under Maintenance | Equipment is currently being serviced or repaired |
| Retired | Equipment is no longer in use |
Equipment status helps with planning activities. You can quickly see what equipment is available when scheduling farm work.
Compliance Tracking
ROMA Registration
ROMA (Registro Oficial de Maquinaria AgrĂcola) is the official agricultural machinery registry. It’s required for:
- All tractors and self-propelled machinery
- Harvesting equipment
- Equipment with integrated engine components
ITEAF Certification
ITEAF (Inspection of Phytosanitary Application Equipment) is required for:
- All boom sprayers (trailed or mounted)
- Air-blast sprayers (mist blowers)
- Equipment used for phytosanitary (pest control) applications
- Must be renewed every 3 years
Important: ITEAF inspections must be renewed every 3 years for equipment requiring compliance. The system automatically calculates next inspection dates.
Adding Equipment
Koru.Farm offers two ways to add equipment to your inventory:

Integration with Activities
Equipment connects to the Activities section of Koru.Farm. When you plan or record farm activities, you can assign equipment to those tasks. This creates a complete record of how your equipment is being used throughout the season.
Important: Equipment that is assigned to activities cannot be deleted. This ensures your activity records remain complete and accurate.
