Edit & Delete Seasons
This guide explains how to update season information or remove seasons that are no longer needed.
Editing a Season
You can edit any season information at any time. The edit modal has the same fields as the creation modal.
Navigate to Seasons
Go to Resources → Seasons in the left menu.
Find the Season
In the seasons table, locate the season you want to edit.
Open Edit Menu
Click the three dots menu (â‹®) on the right side of the season row and select Edit Season.
Update Information
A modal window will open with the season details:
- Season Name — Update the name
- Start Date — Change when the season begins
- End Date — Change when the season ends
- Status — Update the current status (Planned, Active, Completed, Cancelled)
Save Changes
Click the Update button to save your changes. The updated information will be saved to the database.
Date overlap check applies to edits too. If your new Start Date and End Date overlap with another existing season, you will see an error and the changes cannot be saved.
Deleting a Season
You can delete a season only if it has no associated data.
When You Can Delete
The Delete Season option is available only when the season has:
- No crops assigned through Crops Planning
Navigate to Seasons
Go to Resources → Seasons in the left menu.
Find the Season
In the seasons table, locate the season you want to delete.
Select Delete
Click the three dots menu (â‹®) on the right side of the season row and select Delete Season.
Confirm Deletion
Confirm your action in the dialog that appears. The season will be permanently removed from the database.
When You Cannot Delete
If the season already has crops assigned to it, the Delete Season option will not be available.
